From 70 year old dry grown bush vines this is a delicate touch on an old variety. Wild fermented with 20% whole bunches this has trademark spice with strawberry and raspberry aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with fine sandy tannins.

7 day wild ferment with regular pump over. 20% whole bunch inclusion. 16 months in seasoned French oak. Bottled without fining or filtration in September 2014.
Nose
Varietal aromas of raspberry, musk and sage. Hints of pepper and spices.
Palate
Flavours of raspberry, cherry and spice. A touch of earth and alpine herbs. Soft and plush, with a fine tannin backbone. Classic McLaren Vale Grenache.
