On the palate, it is generous and layered, with juicy red fruit complemented by fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. Gentle spice and a touch of savoury complexity add depth, leading to a long, smooth finish. A harmonious blend showcasing elegance and regional character.

“Sweetly fruited and fragrant, the bouquet shows aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberry, dried herb, and warm spices. It’s succulent and supple in the mouth, offering a beautifully rounded mouthfeel and fleshy texture, leading to a lengthy, delectable finish.”
91 points – Ken Gargett (Winepilot)
“Very much the international blend here, with 70% Grenache, the variety originally hailing from Spain, although winemakers from Sardinia might also make a claim, along with 30% Touriga from Portugal, grown in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale. The fruit underwent co-fermentation and included 50% whole bunches. Garnet red in colour, on the nose we have notes of dry herbs, red fruits, bay leaves, cold tea, raspberries and cherries. There is a touch of sour cherry also evident on the finish. The wine has direction and decent length and does persist well, finishing with fine, powdery tannins. For enjoying over the next six to eight years.”
