Vinification

7 day open ferment with regular pump overs. Wild yeast. 10 % whole bunch inclusion. 12 months in new (25%), 2 year old (25%) and 3 + year old (50%) French oak. Bottled without fining or filtration in July 2023. Vegan friendly.

Nose

Floral and expressive. Aromas of forest berries, all spice and musk.

Palate

Flavours of blackberry, plum and chocolate. Some spice and a touch of earth. Soft and rich with a plush mid-palate. Gentle but persistent tannin giving it flow and a long, even finish. McLaren Vale Shiraz with style and substance.
