We were thrilled to see recently that Sam Kim from Wine Orbit recently scored our 2021 Shiraz Grenache Touriga an impressive 93 points and said:
“Splendidly ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows dark berry, game, warm spice and toasted nut aromas, leading to a succulent palate displaying plump mouthfeel combined with silky texture and supple tannins. Generous and soothing with a sustained supple finish.”
As a result, we have put together an amazing deal when you buy a straight dozen.
Normally $264, you’ll only pay $198 including FREE SHIPPING anywhere in Australia.
All varieties are picked and vinified separately. Fermentation takes place in open fermenters with regular pump overs. 20% whole bunches are incorporated in the Grenache component. After fermentation is complete the different wines are basket pressed to new French oak (40%), 2 year old French (35%) and seasoned French and American oak (35%) for 18 months. Each batch is carefully barrel selected, blended and bottled.
A very pretty nose of red fruits with delicate floral elements supported by creamy oak.
This wine is all about juicy and vibrant red fruits, which are present in a big way. It’s finely structured with a pleasing acid backbone. Ready to drink now but patient cellaring will reward.
